Free rostering software for up to 5 people
Rosters, clock in and out, timesheets, approvals and CSV export of the hours, free for as long as you use it. Not a trial. No card. Every venue included.
What the catch is
One thing, named below. Rostering, clocking in, timesheets, approvals, reports and CSV export are all on the free plan, for as long as you use it. What a paid plan adds is the connection that sends approved hours into payroll, and room for more people.

The day you hire a sixth person
Nothing switches off and nothing is charged without you choosing it. When the sixth invitation is about to go out, we ask you to pick a plan first. Paid plans start at $29 a month for up to 10 people, GST included, with 28 days free and no card to start.
If the team shrinks again, deactivate the people who have left and the band follows your headcount back down.

The same product. What changes is how many people can be active, whether hours go to payroll by themselves, and what it costs.
Who the free plan suits
- A cafe, stall or shop with up to 5 people, counting yourself
- A new business setting up its first roster before it hires
- Two small venues run by the same handful of people
- Anybody who wants to run a real pay period before deciding anything
Questions
Does the free plan connect to payroll?
No. Connecting payroll is on the paid plans. The free plan exports approved hours as a CSV, which every payroll system takes, and reports and the audit trail are included too. A paid plan sends those same hours across by itself, as draft timesheets.
Do I count towards the 5?
Yes. Everybody active on your team list counts, including you and any managers, because each of you has an account. Somebody who has left and is deactivated stops counting that day.
Does the free plan run out?
No. It is a plan rather than a trial, so there is no end date to reach and no card to add later.
Can a bigger team try Roster Flow without paying?
Yes. A paid plan starts with 28 days free and no card, which is long enough to run a full pay period before deciding.
