Easy rostering software for Australian small teams
Build next week from last week in one click. Move a shift, copy it across the week, and watch what it costs before you publish it.
What it does
- Week view and day view, with staff down the side and days across the top
- Copy last week, or copy one shift to any other day
- Cost per shift, per person, per day and for the whole week
- Photos on the roster, so you recognise who is on
- Draft until you publish, so nobody sees a half finished plan
Why it works this way
The decisions behind it, and what they are better than.

How it works

What it does not do
Said plainly here, so nobody finds out after they have set it up.
- It does not build a roster automatically. A manager places the shifts, starting from last week if they like
- There are no saved roster templates beyond copying last week or copying a single shift
- The estimated cost is for deciding with, not a pay calculation

Questions about rostering
What does rostering in Roster Flow do?
It lays out the week with your staff down the side and the days across the top. You copy last week or place shifts, see the estimated wage cost as you go, and publish when it is ready, which unlocks clock in on staff phones for those shifts.
Can Roster Flow build the roster automatically?
No. A manager places the shifts, usually starting from a copy of last week. There are no saved roster templates beyond copying last week or copying one shift to other days and people.
What happens if I roster somebody when they are unavailable?
The shift is flagged with the reason, such as a day they marked unavailable or leave that has been approved, and you can still assign it. The warning never blocks the shift, because sometimes it has to be covered anyway.
Do staff see the roster before it is published?
No. The week stays a draft until you publish it. Publishing tells the people whose shifts are new or changed, so a half finished plan never reaches anybody’s phone.
