Send approved hours to Xero
Connect once through the provider's own sign in, import your employees, and send approved hours when the week closes.
What it does
- Xero, connected through its official sign in, with MYOB coming soon
- Employees imported from payroll, so names and pay match
- Pay rates brought across with the people
- A weekly check for new starters, including their start date
- Failures that explain themselves and retry
Why it works this way

What you get out of it
How it works

What it does not do
Said plainly here, so nobody finds out after they have set it up.
- It connects to Xero only, with MYOB coming soon. Other payroll systems take a CSV export
- It does not run pay runs, payslips, superannuation or Single Touch Payroll reporting
- Each send covers one week, so a fortnightly pay run is two sends

Questions about payroll sync
What does the Roster Flow payroll sync send?
Approved hours, one week at a time, so a fortnightly pay run is two sends. Xero receives them as draft timesheets, and MYOB will receive them as timesheets once that connection lands. Pay rates, award rules and the pay calculation stay in your payroll system.
Which payroll systems does Roster Flow connect to?
Xero today, connected through its own sign in screen, so Roster Flow never asks for your payroll password. MYOB is coming soon, and any other payroll system takes a CSV export of hours by employee.
Does Roster Flow run pay runs or Single Touch Payroll?
No. It does not run pay runs, payslips, superannuation or Single Touch Payroll reporting. Those stay in Xero, MYOB or whichever payroll system you use.
What happens if a payroll sync fails?
The timesheets stay approved, and you get a reason, a reference and a retry. Nothing is lost, and the week can be sent again once the cause is fixed.
