Public holidays for your state, priced into the roster
Pick your state and the public holidays are worked out for you, including the ones that move with Easter. The roster prices them at your holiday rate.
What it does
- Every state and territory, with its own list
- Easter dates calculated rather than typed in
- Your own dates added for anything local, like a show day
- Holidays applied to the roster cost automatically
- The calendar visible in settings, year by year

How it works

What it does not do
Said plainly here, so nobody finds out after they have set it up.
- Days proclaimed each year, regional show days and part-day holidays are not worked out, so add any that apply
- Victoria’s Friday before the AFL Grand Final has no date until the AFL releases its 2027 fixture, so add it when it is set
- It dates the holidays. What a holiday shift costs depends on the multiplier you enter

Questions about public holidays by state
How does Roster Flow handle public holidays?
You pick your state or territory and its public holidays appear in the calendar, with the Easter dates calculated. Holiday shifts are then costed at the public holiday multiplier you set, for the people it applies to.
Can I add a local holiday like a show day?
Yes. Add your own dates for anything local and they behave like any other holiday. Days proclaimed each year, regional show days and part day holidays are not worked out for you, so add any that apply.
Are the 2027 public holiday dates confirmed for every state?
Every state and territory list was read from the government that publishes it, and each public holiday page names its source and the day it was read. One day is still open: Victoria sets the Friday before the AFL Grand Final once the AFL releases its fixture.
Does Roster Flow work out public holiday pay?
No. It dates the holidays, and what a holiday shift costs on the roster depends on the multiplier you enter. What anybody is paid for a public holiday is worked out in payroll.
